Having originally trained and worked as a makeup artist, Rachel tends to gravitate more towards the beauty and fashion side of illustration. Paying attention to small details within the bigger picture, to either depict a certain makeup style, or to create an overall feel and energy to a runway or fashion look. Working mostly in Pencil, ink and watercolour, Rachel likes to develop images that appear to be a quick snapshot, a glance of something that may usually be overlooked or unnoticed.
